Marsha Becker-Kyle is an award winning watercolor artist who is a lifetime resident of Washington, Missouri. As an artist, Marsha works solely with transparent watercolor using a dry on dry layering process. Her subject matter ranges from architectural porch scenes, cozy garden depictions, to a line of holiday art showing a whimsical side to her Santas and snowmen. She truly hopes the viewer feels the nostalgia and warmth of a time gone by.

Marsha attended college, but as a self-taught artist enjoys exploring the transparent watercolor media. Its basic non-forgiveness as one develops the body of work, leaves you on the edge of your seat. Working as an artist in rural Washington, Marsha feels she never waits for inspiration and that the more you do, the more you learn and watercolor is definitely a learning experience. Marsha also feels that your worth as an artist is not only defined by who you did or did not study under, but by your vision & the execution of your style as the artist.
